My 3yr old Son's take on Star Wars...We have some work to do...

>> Tuesday, October 5, 2010

I just informed Neil that we have some SERIOUS work to do teaching Bubba B about Star Wars! My husband has been a BIG fan for quite some time, however the kids haven't really watched it yet...I just had this conversation with Bubba B...

(Bubba B walks into my room pointing a toothbrush holder at me, and using his super hero voice)

BB: I'm Mr. Star Wars!

Me: Mr. Star Wars huh?

BB:  Yep, and this is my dad...umm... *whispers*  Mommy...What's the fellows name in the suit?

Me: you mean the one in black?

BB: Yep

Me: Darth Vader

BB: *back to using his super hero voice*  And this is my dad...Darth Vader...He fights crime, but sometimes he fights me...

Me:  *Trying my best not to laugh*  Ok then

That's when I promptly walked into the kitchen to inform my husband of the work lying ahead!  LOL

This is too funny! At least you're on top of it and now that you're homeschooling you can work in some Stars Wars lessons too!

I'm visiting from the SITS Goose Tribe :)

When my son was 4 he was 'the first' of the many Star Wars fans. His costume one year was the Storm Trooper. We used a lot of white poster board!!
Now my grandson is into Star Wars, but with a LEGO twist. I'm amazed how Star Wars keeps recreating itself over the years.
Maybe your grandchildren will one day be asking, "Who's that man in the dark suit", in twenty years or so! :O)
I'm visiting from SITs Goose and Giraffe Tribes. Stop by for some free coloring page downloads and book trailers. I'll have to seriously consider putting my chldren's book characters in Star Wars clothing for those coloring pages!

I also want to tell you that your heading with the foxgloves is beautiful. Did you do the photography for it? We also have foxglove in the spring here in the Pacific NW. Love them and the fact that they just pop up anywhere!

SITs Giraffe and Goose Tribes! Go Team!

My crew and I love Star Wars. The only one I do not allow the younger ones to watch (in its entirety) is episode three (a.k.a. the last one to be made and released). I especially like when the SPIKE channel (I think it is) does the marathons of all the episodes. No, I do not have the time to watch t.v. all day but I still dig when they're on. :)

Dropping by from Goose Tribe to say, "Happy Monday, SITSta!"

Wishing you the best.

Kindest regards,

My girls loved (still do) Star Wars when they were little like that, and I remember one time walking in on them as they having a very serious conversation about meeting Yoda in heaven someday!

Came by thru THL to say hi!

How funny. My husband had the kids watch Star Wars this weekend (everyone was sick) and my kids were not very interested. My poor husband were so disappointed:( We will try again in a few years.
Now following you.
